I took my RAV4 to the dealer no less than 4 times when this vibration in what feels like the transmission started. They not only could not recognize it, they acted like it does not exist! Now I am over 60,000 and my warranty is up! I am furious, and worried that my car has a serious (and possibly unsafe to drive) problem that I cannot even get Toyota to acknowledge.

Update from Jan 28, 2016: Took my car to a new dealership. The service manager knew right away, before even driving what the problem was. Shuttering between 35 and 45 MPH - The Torque Convertor was defective. It sounded like this may be an issue Toyota was aware of. Toyota Co agreed to cover the replace and repair of this very expensive repair even though I was 15,000 miles out of warranty due to the complaints in my service history at the other dealer. I am VERY pleased with the new Dealership, and with Toyota Corp for handling my problem and covering the repairs. I will be a Toyota owner forever.
