vsc/trac lights on beeping = turns off functions

Driving on parkway at 70 miles an hour the car started beeping, lights flashing, bucking and slowed down.Felt as though I had run off the road onto the rough sides that warn drives they are not in their lane, but I was in the middle lane. Pulled over to side of road and sat there, at 2 a.m. this is freaky. Turned car off and didn't know what to do. No wanting to be a sitting duck alone on the side of the highway in the middle of the night, and I had no one to call, I started car and said I would give it a shot of driving the next 60 miles home. Car ran fine the remained of the trip, with the Trac / Vsc lights on saying the system was OFF.

The car continued to drive fine for about 6 weeks. Then it started again. I had the front brakes and rotors replaced thinking maybe something was getting stuck. This was not the answer.

I was stopped at a light and when it turned green and I stepped on the gas to cross a 4 lane highway it happened again! The car beeped, lights flashing and truck didn't want to move at first, crawled to other side of highway and pulled off the road. Put vehicle in neutral and sat there. Beeping stopped and I need to get home, so with the VSC/TRAC lights on saying the system was OFF I traveled the 30 miles home.

Today at the same intersection it happened AGAIN!!! The roads are dry and clear each and every time this has happened. They all have been recently paved so they are smooth sailing. I checked the brake fluid (at another person posted fix) and add about 1 ounce--will see what happens.
