They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Sienna. While operating the vehicle, the passenger side air bags were deactivated even though a 130 lb passenger was seated in the front passenger seat. After switching passengers, the front passenger side air bag operated normally for approximately 20 minutes before the malfunction recurred, although the passenger seat weighed approximately 213 lbs. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the failure could not be duplicated. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 52,000.
