Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Rear leaf spring recall, Toyota has failed to repair. This recall is over a year with "no repair available" over a year to receive a second notice indicating Toyota is searching for parts still. This is a safety hazard every time vehicle is driven. Leaf springs are rusted and could fail. Why no corrective action and still no date available to correct?

Toyota can't build frames for their trucks. Mine is rotted. Toyota plans to spray it with a rust inhibitor. They have recalled every 2006 and older Tacoma for this issue and won't recall the 2007's. I now own a pile of junk and Toyota won't do what's right even though they clearly know there's an issue.

Why is no one holding Toyota accountable to the leaf spring recall they announced in September 2014. There is a verified safety hazard with weak springs possibly breaking next to a plastic fuel tank. Toyota simply announced the recall and here we are 9 months later with no solution. Will you please look in to this? thank you.
