Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety. Notes: You're going to burn through a lot of dinosaurs while chugging around town, and any rear passengers you may have to carry are going to feel real cramped, but at the end of the day this is a solid truck.

I have had my 2004 Toyota Tundra for over 1 year.I like my truck very much. But here lately, every time I put it in reverse, there's a very loud squeal.Only in reverse.I have taken the front rotors off & inspected them, nothing there.I installed new brake pads, that was done. Then I took off the rear brake drums, installed new brake hardware & brakes, that was done.Used the anti-sqeal,too.And it still is making a loud squeal. So,I inspected other parts on the truck, but everything else seems fine.I would like to know where this squealing is coming from before something really happens in a bad way.
