The contact owns a 2004 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated that the vehicle was equipped with 17 inch rims, which would become pitted and damaged from salt on the roads. As a result, air leaked from the tires. The contact indicated that the failure occurred on all four wheels. The cause of the failure was diagnosed and repaired by an independent mechanic but the failure continued to occur. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 94,000. Updated 04/20/16 the consumer stated the rims leaked air, especially in cold weather. Updated 10/17/16.
