On 1/29/11 I ran out of gas when the fuel gauge showed that I had 1/8 of a tank.the dealer said that he fuel sending device had to be replaced on my 2008 Toyota Yaris. I was told by the dealer that"this happens on yarises a lot'". if this is happening so much why isn't the part being recalled? it is not safe to run out of gas unexpectedly, especially in the middle of the street or freeway.
