The contact owns a 2006 Volkswagen Beetle. The air bag warning light illuminated and the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer. The dealer advised that there was a sensor within the seat belt receptor that would need replacing. The vehicle was not repaired and the failure continued to recur. The failure mileage was 40,000 and the current mileage was 43,000.
