The contact owns a 2006 Volkswagen Gti. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 mph the vehicle stalled. Immediately after the failure the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was later towed to a dealer where they advised that the cam follower and the high pressure fuel pump failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance. The failure and current mileages were approximately 120,200.
