Took car to Platinum VW for warranty repair. Service tech drove the car and agreed that AM radio reception was poor. For comparison purposes, test drove a new Jetts. Radio reception was fine. Car was examined and VW higher-ups were called for suggestions. Told to check out a similar model Golf. Did so with service tech and found AM reception was poor.

VW claims that there is no repair for this condition, and that scratchy AM reception IS NORMAL for this model. I was given no alternative solutions for the correction of the radio problem.

I no longer consider Nancy Pelosi (Congresswoman from CA) to be the dumbest person on the face of the earth...
