I had the error code Po 300, 301, 302. which is random cylinder misfire and 1,2, or 4 cylinder misfire. Replaced them all but the problem persisted so I replaced the wires. The problem might be a clogged fuel filter, air hose or a bad fuel pump. I hadn't check it out. Then I get an another error code that there's a problem before the catalytic converter. The car can have a rough start, rough when idle (usually a stop light), Or a loss of power on the freeway when I hit 70 or 80mph. when the car is idling it drops from 800 rpm to 600rpm. This is not a catalytic converter problem due to the fact I replace it due to a heavy rattle.

speed senor has bee replaced three (3) car won't shift

My 2000 Volkswagon Jetta has given me nothing but trouble. I swear I have replaced almost every part in the car. (really). Since 2010, I have put in three "speed sensors" this problem is now unbearable. The check engine light is on even after replacing the speed sensor this time and the won't shift gears over 30 mph. I just dropped my car off at Cooley Motors in East Greenbush, NY this morning and, at this time I waiting for a call back from the dealer, which, by the way, is where I purchased the car in 2002.

I would never recommend anyone to purchase this type of vehicle. It has given me much heartache.
