Heater began blowing cold air about two months ago. Had it looked at in connection with the engine rebuild I had to endure a couple of weeks ago. (That's a different story.) Mechanic said heater core looked good and the rest of the heater system looked good and could not figure out why it was blowing cold. Mechanic said that if I needed a new heater core, it would be over $1,000 as the entire dash has to come out to replace the core. I guess I'll just be cold then.
