When buying a VW, do NOT get the basic hub caps. Go ahead and request wheels because everyone I know that has had VWs with hub caps like me has had to replace them constantly. The hub caps cannot be sealed on well and always have a gap between cap and wheel that readily pops off at any gradient in the road.
