My car is less than 15 months old, granted it has about 60,000 miles on it. Started to have issues with all the electrical and found out it was fluid migration. VW did agree to pay for the parts but I asked about help with the repair cost no luck. Seems they want me to prove that it started in the warranty period. From what I have read, this problem is virtually undetectable until you start having problems and by the time it eats through your system it usually out of the warranty, pretty convenient. Seems this is not as isolated as they want to make you believe otherwise it would be all over the forums.
