Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Vibration in drive train. Local dealer put in a new drive train, this did not work, then they put in a new torque converter, this did not work. All under warranty (23,000 miles on a 20124 VW Touareg) now I am going directly to vwof America to file a case. VW says this is normal in all new Touaregs. This is not true. It did not vibrate when we first bought it and if you test drive a new one on the lot, it does not vibrate. The vibrations happen when the car is coasting from 40 mph to 15 mph, when the transmission is downshifting.
