The problem with the grinding/knocking noise actually started over a year ago when the car only had approx 10000 miles on the clock.
I have had the car into the garage on more than 6 occasions and have had various parts replaced, last month they had it a whole week and the problem is back again louder than ever.
The noise is worse on full steering lock and originally appeared only when reversing with full lock on, then it started to make the same noise when going forward.
I have had new steering column on, steering pads oiled/replaced, front shock absorber but think the dealer is stumped to offer a solution.
The warranty expires next month and no doubt will start to cost me money as well as time to find solution.
Anyone offer any suggestions......
