Under normal braking conditions pedal intermittently feels bouncy and vibrates. Sometimes there is also a bumping noise. This happens only when coming to a stop, never under emergency braking. Braking distance is normal. Vehicle taken to dealer 5 times, replaced hydrolic unit/control module/front brake pads, and all tires. Did not remedy problem. Dealer stated it was normal for this vehicle to react that way during braking.

I noticed a vibration between 25-40 mph. Dealer found belt separation and cracking. There are 5 or 6 other incidents of this on 1998 and 1999 Volvo cars at this dealership. This is a factory defect and safety issue and I am unhappy that Continental made me pay a pro-rata amount of $25 for each tire they replaced. (dot number: Lmpdaxub tiresize: 205/65/15)
