The position lights and turn signal on the Driver's side won't work. Mechanic says the circuit is dead. Multiple relays and mini computers involved in the circuit, according to the schematics. After weeks of attempted diagnoses and repairs, the problem can't be resolved. Seems Volvo thinks at least 2 relays and a series of computers are needed for every electrical circuit in the car. Only the Dealer seems to be equipped to repair them, and the repair for this will be $1000 to $3000 at the dealer. The car is only worth $3,000 -

Why must Volvo make their cars so intensely complex?
