Personal Injury Claim Investigation — Bailey Peavy Bailey, PLLC

GM Ignition Switch/Airbag Defect Contact Form

The Bailey Peavy Bailey, PLLC ("BPB") law firm is currently investigating potential personal injury claims on behalf of individuals and/or their loved ones who suffered personal injuries due to General Motors' ("GM") faulty ignition switch or airbag system. General Motors issued safety recalls identifying a defect in the ignition switch of numerous models and vehicles in which the ignition switch may unintentionally move from the "run" position to the "accessory" or "off" position ("the Ignition Switch Defect"). This defect may cause the loss of power to the vehicle and steering system, leading drivers to lose control of their vehicles, resulting in unintended collisions and wrecks. Furthermore, this defect may cause the failure of airbags to deploy resulting in severe and sometimes catastrophic personal injuries to the driver and passengers.

The GM Compensation Plan Protocol establishes the eligibility and process requirements for individual claimants to submit and settle claims alleging that the Ignition Switch Defect caused a death or physical injury in an automobile accident involving one of the following models:

There are other GM vehicles that were similarly recalled for their ignition switch defect but were left off from the GM Compensation Plan. These models include:

  • Buick Lacrosse (2005-2009)
  • Buick Lucerne (2006-2011)
  • Cadillac CTS (2003-2014)
  • Cadillac Deville (2000-2005)
  • Cadillac DTS (2006-2011)
  • Cadillac SRX (2004-2006)
  • Chevy Camaro (2010-2014)
  • Chevy Impala (2000-2014)
  • Chevy Malibu (1997-2005)
  • Monte Carlo (2000-2007)
  • Oldsmobile Alero (1999-2004)
  • Oldsmobile Intrigue (1998-2002)
  • Pontiac Grand Am (1999-2005)
  • Pontiac Grand Prix (2004-2008)

If you, your loved one or someone you know has suffered personal injuries due to GM's faulty ignition or airbag system involving any of the vehicle models listed above (either as passenger or driver of the vehicle OR as a passenger and driver of a vehicle hit by one of the above-mentioned vehicles), please contact BPB by completing the intake form above.
