BMW Recalls 72 Cars to Replace Loose Bolts
BMW recalls M2, M3 and M4 cars that can experience handling problems due to loose bolts.

— BMW is recalling 72 cars that may experience stability problems caused by loose bolts.

Recalled are 2016 BMW M2, 2015-2017 M3 and 2015-2016 M4 cars with rear sub-frame bolts that may have been reused instead of completely replaced.

The mistake can occur after the rear differential has been serviced and can cause the rear sub-frame bolts to loosen. The loose bolts may cause problems with handling and control while driving at any speed.

The recall is expected to begin October 24, 2016, when dealers will replace the rear sub-frame bolts.

BMW owners with questions should call 800-525-7417.
