I recently rented a Kia Carnival for vacation. Sadly, the company didn't bother to tell me that the second-row seating springs forward with such brute force, it could easily contend with a professional boxer. Seriously, this seat springs forward with so much force that the plastic housing attached to the headrest, that houses the seatbelt roll, on the seat, smacked my cheek bone, right under my eye, so hard it knocked me to my knees, and I was black out stunned for a minute. It brought tears and the biggest knot and black eye, and cheek bruise. Looks like I went a couple rounds. This is ridiculous. Imagine if that had been a child with weaker smaller bones. Shame on Kia for overlooking this issue.
