The navigation function is not available, and the message ?The navigation data are not activated? appears in the MMI. DTC B126CF2 (Navigation system navigation database not enabled) is set in the information electronics control module, J794 (address word 5F). Navigation is a feature of the MMI that requires a license activation using SVM. The process is handled by the gateway and the MMI inside the vehicle. In some instances, the feature can be affected if the gateway is placed into ?Component Protection Showroom Mode? or if the gateway and MMI lose communication with each other. As a result, either the license activation must be performed again online using SVM or the component protection removal must be performed.
