The tears are about an inch long & are in the middle of the side sections. The top was ripped in the same spot on both sides when I bought it. Otherwise the top is in mint condition - very strange. I've used the top a lot in the last 6 months since I bought the car & the rips haven't changed at all. Maybe it was installed wrong?
