The contact owns a 2000 Cadillac Deville. The contact stated that while driving 65 mph, he heard a loud rumbling noise as the stability service light illuminated and the vehicle became difficult to steer. The failure recurred several times. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnosis and the contact was informed that the yaw senor would need to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. The vehicle was returned to a dealer and the steering wheel position sensor was replaced but the failure recurred. The dealer then replaced the wiring harness but to no avail. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 95,000 and the current mileage was 101,000.
