I was getting something out the truck. The liftgate came up just fine; however, I felt someone hit me on my back and it was the liftgate coming down on me. I had to propel it up with my left arm. Never felt such awful pain. Had to go to the ER. This should never have happened.
My husband and I researched the internet and saw all these customers complaining. There as been no recall on this for 2017 Escalades and higher. It's obvious there is a problem that should have been fixed when they had a recall on all the later models. Why doesn't GM care about their customers? I truly believe it is more than the struts... the sensor should have stopped this liftgate from hitting me and injuring me. What can we do about this?
