Bought this 2005 Colorado 4x4 the other day,it only has 75,000 kms. on it.The FUEL CAP light came on the next day.I went and bought another cap,the light stayed off for a few days,now it came back on as well as check engine light..Any help would be appreciated to solve this problem.Thanks
I have six other people that have all had this problem, it is always the same fix. It is not a horrible problem but is a problem none the less. it is a very easy fix and actually takes longer to lower the spare tire than it does to replace the part. everyone i know with this truck has this same problem some as early as 22k miles, but i wouldn't expect GM to recall it anytime soon with their current economic status. be sure to tell a garage that it is exactly this part so they don't trouble shoot and charge you for parts you dont need. EGR VENT SOLENOID
