Engine intermittently fails to start, all other electrical systems works. It happens about every 30 starts, but seems to be happening more often. I replaced battery the fist time and about 2 weeks later it did it again. I've tried jumping, checked shifter position, steering wheel position, and relays still nothing. Twice now I've called for a tow truck and each time it has started before I can complete the call, usually around ten minutes. Taken it to the mechanic and it does not show up on diagnostic computer. I have a feeling it may be in the anti theft system that locks out ignition when the key fob is used our something. Ten minutes can be a long time wait when you need to go! Need help!!!

Sometimes the engine won't turn over at all. It doesn't matter if the truck has been running recently or if it has been sitting all day. It is intermittent. I've replaced the battery and checked the relays, but neither procedure helped. I purchased the truck used a few months ago and the problem started a couple of months after purchase.
