I'm not sure if the locks got wet when it rained, but the locks began to go up and down while driving. It only happened a couple times back in the Summer, but it was very annoying.

On my 1004 Malibu, sometimes there will be a beeping noise from under the dash, and then the locks may go up and down intermittently, and then the CD player may stop playing altogether, and then the car won't respond to the key fob. I think the darn thing is alive, if you want to know the truth. When I took it to the dealer, of course, the car would not demonstrate the problems, so the dealer said they couldn't fix what they couldn't see as wrong. Well enough. So the very next time the car behaved in this way, I went through both fuse boxes and wiggled/secured all the fuses and relays. Problem solved, for about 6,000 miles. Last night (March 10, 2008), the problem resurfaced. Again I went through the fuse panels. Seemingly, the problem is again solved. Who knows. My wife thinks it's cute, and that the car has personality. I say it's a spoiled brat which needs a paddling.
