I have a 2014 Spark! Have problems with transmission! When you are driving at about 65mph the Rpm's are at about 2200-2300 Rpm's! Let off the gas and it drops to 2000! And you can feel the drag! If you tap the pedal, Rpm's drop to about 1200 Rpm's! Coasting with no drag!! Now if you are at 25-30 mph and crest a hill, the trans is not coasting, it's as if it's in low gear! Start down the hill and Rpm's go up!!!!! And you can feel the drag!!! As it's not letting you coast!!!! Tap the gas pedal again and it is as you were coasting, Rpm's go down to normal 12000 Rpm's!!! (or as tech put it there, is no shift point!)
It's eating gas and is hard on trans! Car has 6000 miles roughly! Had nothing but problems since I got it with 3800 miles on! And since the updated data for trans, will be at the dealer for the 4th time! First 3 times said it was normal! Got some snow and was coming down a steep hill and it wasn't pretty! Pretty scary! No wreck yet but I feel this issue could cause one!!!!!!! I will post if there is a fix!!! As with 8000 miles on it 1 of the body computers were bad 4-6 weeks ago along with others I will post next!
