Concorde LX

We've had the door seals replaced 2 times and the headlight casing seals fixed, re-glued and replaced numerous times. What is the problem that the won't stay in place. They shrink and come lose. Every time I open the hood they come off. It's getting really old!! We've only had the car 8 months.
