In response to a driver airbag infiltrator housing recall notice, I took the truck to Lithia Springs Chrysler Jeep to have the recall repair done. The Seat Belt and Air Bag Off warning lights intermittently came on and chimed, but were not constant. I reported the problem to the dealer. The service adviser said I should have them synchronize the seats for $250, but he couldn't guarantee that would fix the problem.
When I returned to the dealer to get the truck, the dealer said I needed brake work, which I said (and did) have done by my regular mechanic. As I exited the dealership, the warning lights came on and have not gone out since. Months later, after I cooled off, I called the service desk, and the adviser said the seat sensors were bad, and the repair costs $676.00.
