I brought my truck into the dealership where I purchased it new to check out the passenger heated seat (among other issues which I had the pleasure of posting here today). The service department proceded to tell me...."that's how it's supposed to work, the heated seat has an auto shut off when it's too cold out." ?? Really? Therefore I replied to him, "OK if that's the case, then the passenger heated seat is definitely broken cause it never shuts off until I push the button to turn it off. " Still not fixed to this day and should have been covered under warranty.
NOTE TO POTENTIAL DODGE BUYERS...Dodge sales teams are great but the service afterwards is awful. I believe Dodge trains their mechanics not to trouble shoot issues and use common sense. I believe they train them in a way that if they don't know how to fix something, to just guess a fix instead of researching or using their tech support. If you have an unresolved issue with your vehicle please just leave it at the dealership until it's fixed irregardless of how hard they push to get you to sign the work order. Even if they promise the world and their first born, cause once you do sign, the onus is on you.
