I have 73,000 miles on the car and because we own a camper, plan on keeping this cosmetically challenged vehicle another 5 years. As you can see it is probably one of the worst ones with peeling paint. I got estimates from 2 different Ford Dealers and so say painting will not work and that both hood and lift gate need replacing. One estimate is just below $4,000 and the other just above $4,000. I have contacted Ford Customer Care and only received a nice letter telling me no.
