When I called Ford headquarters back in 2002 I was told that the brake problem was due to an engineering problem, but not covered by the company or the ESP. I've had to replace the discs, drums and rotors at least 7 times since I've owned it. I DO NOT RIDE BRAKES. My shop has been putting on Lifetime guarantee disc, drums and rotors since after about the 4th set. That way all I have to pay for is the labor.

The Transmission went out after about 75000 miles and was not covered by the ESP either. I drive the truck only on the highway and paved roads.

I am really upset with FORD, and I tell everyone I meet about my truck and its problems. Door handles broke off, drivers seat tilt lever broke off, back window motor broke, the list goes on and on. I have spent over $$13,000 on repairs only, not counting oil changes and checkups.

I feel like I have been taken advantage of and if I do not get a good response and compensation, I do plan on talking to an Attorney.
