I got rear ended because brake lights went out. I changed brake switch, bulbs, fuses... nothing. and come to find out that there has been a problem with the Spot Trac and Ford has never done anything with it. You have to move your tilt on steering wheel up and down to they come on .. a real safety issue.. Ford needs to do something before some one really gets hurt.
