F-150 Lariat 5.6L V8

I bought a 2006 F150 Lariat 5.6L v8 about two years ago with 90,000 miles. THE PROBLEMS COME AND COME AND COME. Every time I fix one, 3 more pop up. Wear and tear items that went out at 100,000 miles. Starter, alternator, spark plugs and coils. Normal wear and tear items which I'd say at 100k got your moneys worth.

Below I listed the problems that are annoying with the truck. During the spark plug change, you have to take EXTREME caution for taking the spark plugs out. If you snap a plug you just turned a problem into an even bigger problem. After half a day of slow tedious work, I managed to replace all of them without breaking a single plug. I would highly recommend using a torque wrench and slowly upping the lbs until the plug breaks free. ONE important thing. My plugs were the original plugs and at 100k miles they were COVERED in carbon build up which is why so many people break plugs. If I waited til 150k miles, I can almost guarantee you I would have broke some plugs. Change them sooner than later!

Next annoying problem is the windows start acting funny. First the driver side regular went out - I replaced it worked great after. Then the back windows started not wanting to roll up. The issue is the contacts in the switch. Once they get cleaned up it will work.

The next annoying problem is the AC. A piece of foam must have gotten stuck in the vent and the vent is now stuck on the defroster so in FL it gets hot as .

Another issue is the reverse takes a long time to engage which is a bad sign. I bought the truck because a friend of mine had an F150 of the same year and said he loved the truck, but then bought a new one. All in all the truck has been good to me from a reliability stand point only leaving me stranded one time because the alternator. The good, it's a very comfortable ride and tows decent also. I need a truck for boating/fishing. I spent about $10,000 for the truck when it had 90,000 miles. Long story short I think Ford went above and beyond on the interior design. After all the problems i have listed above, I still do love the truck. I really do. However the slow engaging reverse scares me that sooner or later the tranny will go or lose reverse. If it didn't have that issue i would 100% keep the truck for years because I really do enjoy it. However, I will not be sad when she's gone.
