We began leasing this new 2019 Ford F150truck 1/20/2020. In summary we have a partial broken grille and broken shutters. The issues are:
1) Small plastic clips of the top front grille assembly have broken off (the left half of the top grille are broken off; the right half are broken at the bottom, just hanging on loosely but will be breaking off soon!)
2) The shutters inside the grille have broken and are lying inside the grille.
THIS IS VERY POOR CONSTRUCTION AND A TERRIBLE DESIGN PROBLEM! This FORD vehicle has not been leased by us for very long. In fact, there are not a lot of miles on it due to the COVID pandemic and limited traveling. We are not aware that our truck hit anything; even if it did, the construction is absolutely so poor and flimsy.
[Last week on a trip, we noticed a 2018 Ford F150 and pointed out to the owner 2 pieces of his grille clips were missing and to be alert of the problem. So we are not the only one with this issue!]
