There was a 'service Bulletin' for this problem early in my brand-new cars life. Of course I immediately brought my '500' in for repair. They repaired the hood-paint problem where it was evident. Months later, the blistering/flaking showed itself again. When I brought my Ford back for further repair, the service manager explained that they "fixed" the problem once and that's ALL they were obligated to do !
I responded to him by saying, "Guess when the next time I buy another Ford will be!"

There was a well-known service bulletin for this vehicle's brakes. The dealership 'repaired' those ONCE also. Upon completion of repairs, I asked the service manager why the brakes failed so quickly. He responded with two words. --Sh*tty Brakes--
