I was driving straight on dry pavement at approximately 40 miles per hour (the speed limit) when the car suddenly started violently shaking from left to right. Imagine an excited dog wagging its tail and body. That was my car. A yellow light was flashing on and off, but I could not determine what it was under the circumstances. The car was making a grinding noise. I immediately started slowing the car down. The brakes were grinding when I depressed them. I pulled into a parking lot to see if I could see something wrong. I left the car running. There was nothing visible. I got back into the car and drove about a block and the same thing happened again so I pulled off again, got out and looked again and saw nothing. I cannot remember if I shut the car off or not. I was only about 4 miles from home, so I decided to at least try to get closer to home before I called someone for help. I was able to drive the car home without incident. I looked in the manual to try to figure out what the light was and it was the traction control. When I restarted the car, it was acting normal. According to the manual, if there was something wrong, the light would stay on. I have driven the car about 20-25 more miles since and it has not reoccurred. I have been driving many years and have never had a car act like this. I did some searching on the internet and have found multiple Mustang drivers that have had similar experiences with years 2011 and newer. I also read that Ford has had other models recalled for similar problems, but not Mustang. I am taking it in tomorrow to get the passenger airbag recall serviced. I told the dealership about this problem and they are going to look at it (for $112) and tell me what they find.

Tamara recall, the traction light come on and off the power steering failure light come on and makes a screeching noise, and the power steering gets extremely stiff in turns like it's about to lock up. The car only has 44,000 miles. All this happened while on a city street when turning. It's the electric power steering/ rack and pinion. There are a lot of post on youtube as well.

The vehicle has under 7,500 miles and a service advancetrac warning just came up on my commute to work this morning. Was driving on a nice road in downtown riverside and had no impact or other events prior to the light turning on. The vehicle's braking is not apparently inhibited. Ford states that this is out of warranty.

At startup, while leaving the neighborhood a dry clear day (no rapid acceleration), experiences a loss of power. Traction control light comes on. When brakes applied, grinding sound occurs then normal driving resumes and light turns off. First occurred 2 years ago. Since brakes rotors changed, still occurs, much more often now, on date indicated, happened 3 times within 1/4 mile, less than 1 mile total drive.

Driving he car at about 40mph mostly in traffic I lost completely the throttle and I can't accelerate and show the wrench light in the cluster. I have to completely stop put the car in park turn off and wait a few minutes and the car will work again for a few hours some time days with out problem but this happen with out any warning. When I get the car to the repair shop I found the dtc P2111. I did a PCM reprogram with the latest calibration files from the motorcraft service web site. But I still have the problem, Y wondering that some day I will cause a accident to me and some body else. I hope somebody take consideration of this problem in my car and a lot more that I was reading in the Ford forum. As I know I'm not the only one with this kind of problem in Ford vehicles. Thank you very much

After making a right turn and attempting to accelerate into traffic, the car's advancetrac light flashed at about 40mph and the car began losing power and applying the brakes without reason. The advancetrac light continued to flash and the brakes and throttle continued to modulate as if the car were sliding on ice. This had happened before and once it has started will not stop until the car is stopped and placed into park. I drove approximately 1/2 mile with this issue occurring until I could safely pull over. This has now occurred 4 times in 23000 miles. Each time the same circumstances. A turn from a start and moderate acceleration and the issue begins between 30-40mph and lasts until the car is stopped and shifted to park.
