Interior rattles, sounds like it comes from the door and possible the backseat area.

Accord LX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,000 miles

Lots of rattles from the cabin.

Both front windows rattle. It goes away if you open the window slightly.

There is a honda TSB showing how to fix this rattle using squeak reduction tape. This noise comes from a stick/slip action of the door weatherstrip.

Also, the CD player display lens rattles. to fix, you have to replace the lens.

Center map pocket rattle - fix: replace the center map pocket assembly.

There are other rattles here and there. But those are bearable so far.

Rattling inside the right/rear passenger door has been driving me crazy. We shall see if they actually fix it. Has been going on since car was new.

Both front doors rattle. The passenger side is none-stop but the driver side rattles intermittently, especially when going over bumps. Brought it in for service and the clowns said they checked the after market window visors...of course that wasn't the answer. Anyone have any suggestions?

Accord SE 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 12,000 miles

Rattles on the doors and dash--probably the glove compartment.

All doors rattle. Take it through a car wash, the forced air drying part and you will hear it rattle like crazy. Rough roads will do the same. Took it to svce. They "insulated" the doors, but the problem persists.

The doors rattle/buzz in my car on rough pavement. Both sides. The car is so quiet while driving, it makes the noise very noticeable. I bought the Honda because my last car was a Nissan that had quality issues, though I would not have them with a Honda. But I think they are building so many that Quality Control is slipping.

Rattles from the driver and passenger doors. Passenger seat rattles as well as the dash. Dealership stated that the rattles could not be fixed.

Began noticing rattles soon after purchase. They are all intermittent and dependent on road surface. Smooth asphalt or concrete - no problem. But drive on any coarse aggregate surface, and here come the rattles. Passenger side seat belt holder - vibration rattle - right in your ear. Loud metallic rattle centered in rear of engine compartment - sounds like sheet metal flapping against something. Dashboard near windshield - driver side - plastic rattle. Took to dealer once, but couldn't get rattles to exhibit - apparently, description is not good enough for them to work on it - they must actually hear the rattle with their own ears. I'll identify coarse aggregate road near dealership and try again. Very disappointing to have this problem in a new car. Particularly, Honda, known for quality.
