CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2012 Honda Accord has a solid reputation (so far), with one very significant flaw: uncomfortable seats.

Owners have consistently reported uncomfortable seats with the entire 8th generation (2008-2012) of Honda Accords. Complaints range from back pain to leg circulation problems due to bad lumbar support, cushioning, & seat angle. Complaints aren't limited to only a certain body type -- the seat comfort problems are from a wide spectrum of owner height & weight.

The common theme we hear is "we never noticed this during the test drive." Unfortunately for unwary buyers, the seat pain is noticeable after 15-20 minutes.

The screen for the radio and heater/ac cannot be seen in sunlight. There is so much reflection on it that you cannot see the little symbols and writing. If you have sunglasses on, forget it. I have to take off my sunglasses and lean over closer to see anything at all. And when you are driving down the Interstate at 70 miles an hour, that could be very dangerous. There is not way to make it bright enough to see. You know they make glass that doesn't reflect. I guess Honda is so far behind the times they don't know. No more Hondas for me ever.

The dash that displays the time, temperature, radio station etc. is very hard to see or read when the sun hits from the rear or side. This is ridiculous for a $30,000 car. The sales rep adjusted the brightness all the way up but it's still a problem. I wish I hadn't bought this car and kept my old 2001 Accord or bought another car! I'm very upset and very disappointed with the 2012 Accord
