CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013-2014 Honda Accord is showing signs of an electrical problem with the starter failing soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. It's compounded by reports that the OEM battery doesn't have sufficient amps to start the V6 reliably after a year or two.

For now we are rating this problem with the "Beware" seal because it's occurring so soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. The upshot is when your Accord won't start, that's never good, but especially bad when it's just a few years old.

Also once again, owners are complaining that the 2013 Honda Accord seats are uncomfortable. Uncomfortable seats has been a significant complaint with the Accord since the 2008 model year.

I have had the car into the dealership 4 times for this problem. The most recent visit they said it was the air bag mechanism rubbing on the steering column. It is making the noise again and I will be back at the dealership next Saturday. My question is: Why can't they figure out what is going on with the car? Is this problem a danger? Even if it isn't dangerous, it certainly is annoying.

Honda has always had an attitude, but now it is exceeded only by their decreasing quality. They acknowledge the problem, know it is an issue, but refuse to provide a fix. Will this be the next big safety issue? I hope not. This is my wife's car and I plan to dump this piece of crap ASAP. My advice, if you want a vanilla car, that you can rely on the company to back... buy something else. Honda will leave you high and dry once they get your money.
