CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013-2014 Honda Accord is showing signs of an electrical problem with the starter failing soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. It's compounded by reports that the OEM battery doesn't have sufficient amps to start the V6 reliably after a year or two.

For now we are rating this problem with the "Beware" seal because it's occurring so soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. The upshot is when your Accord won't start, that's never good, but especially bad when it's just a few years old.

Also once again, owners are complaining that the 2014 Honda Accord seats are uncomfortable. Uncomfortable seats has been a significant complaint with the Accord since the 2008 model year.

My Samsung 9 hooks up only to receive calls. I no longer have text capability. My cars says no entries and not compatible. I went to Honda and they said they couldn't help. I've deleted and reentered my phone to get the same results. I'm frustrated.

Bluetooth system is a major pain. Some days it works like a charm and others it a POS. It often wont connect to the phone or it will read that there is nothing to connect to. Have tried with 2 different types of phone Iphone and Galaxy and they both have same issue but work fine with all bluetooth devices so far.

The 2014 Accord was designed to work with phones and OSes that were out at the time and nothing else. Since then, updates to both Android and iOs have rendered the feature useless, and another update may well break the calling feature as well. Oddly, the 2013 still works fine, so clearly they just went with a cheaper manufacturer and now we are suffering because of it. I've tried a dozen phones with my car, anything newer than Android 4.2.2 or iOs 7 just does not work.
