The caller said the passenger side sliding door opens without warning. It happens when driving. The indicator light comes on, and the alarm goes off. The caller says the door does not open all the way. Had it to the dealer 10 times for this problem. Dealer said it was dirty connections and did not do anything to fix it. Manufacturer will offer no help for free. Also, the caller received a recall letter concerning gas recirculation valve ( egr valve). The manufacturer will not approve the recall work. Also wanted to take vehicle to the dealer. The rotors were resurfaced, the seat reclined when the consumer exited the vehicle.
The engine light and traction control light came on several times. Each time it was taken to the dealer for this problem and the dealer said the problem was the egr valve system. Also, the exhaust gas recirculation system failure caused the vehicle to lurch forward and stall while driving.
Refer to ODI#755486- dealer visit today- code 31-2 pfinh signal--dealer called american Honda tech line for assistance, they state the tcs light will come on for egr code, they state the tcs system is operational, tcs code is a false code due to momentary interuption of signal to primary control module, and is a characteristic of the car. Car after 7 visits has not been repaired.
