During winter, headliner began loosening and falling, starting at the rear of the cab and for the following month or so, working its way forward. I believe water from rains were getting in and causing this. Noticed that exterior molding at the top of the rear of the cab was loose, so I suspect rain was coming if from here.

interior roof cloth covering detaching and coming off interior roof cloth covering detaching and coming off interior roof cloth covering detaching and coming off

My vehicle is less than 7 years old and the cloth that covers the roof (plafond) is detaching and drooping. I have a Hammock for a roof now.

I went to the dealer and they said "Oh! That can happen. It is the outside heat. Unfortunately, your car warranty has expired" I was quite upset to see how dismissive they were. This is the same dealer that I have been taking my car for schedule maintenance and repairs since I purchased it. I have seen cars older than 10 years that have better looking interior than mine now.

My vehicle actually spent little to no time outside as I have a two car garage in my home. I have owned cars that lasted more than 10 year and I now have one that is coming apart in less than 7.

Update from Nov 14, 2013: HondaCustServ got back to me on this and could not help because I am in PR. They forwarded me to Bella International which reps Honda in PR. I had already contacted them and they were pretty useless. Response was contact dealer. Dealer's response - Get your visa ready! (in not those exact words, but one reads between the lines).

Oh well! I will look for someone to repair the car.

This will very likely be my last Honda.
