I took to dealership three different times and they couldn't "simulate" the problem. I picked up the car and showed the night person how car lights turn off when I turn on turn signal and turn wheel until it "clicks" to automatically turn off the blinker. When the wheel is turned back the lights go off and the lights on the dash "grey" out where it showed DRL/Automatic lights. I have to turn the lights on to manual where they work. Pretty scary when my teenager first experienced it when I was teaching her to drive. It has never been fixed.
