I purchased the car used from a reputable car dealer with many years in the business. We had the car less than a month when I noticed smoke coming from the exhaust. At first, I thought I was seeing things but after we took the car on a long trip it overheated on the highway. We let it cool down then drove it to a parts place so we could check out what was happening. We noticed that there are two locations to add antifreeze which was odd, but since it was a hybrid it had two engines, and two antifreeze storages. We noticed one of them was very low so we purchased some anti freeze and filled it to the mark. This prevented the overheating but di not keep the car from eating up the antifreeze. We returned to the dealership and they gave us a new car to use for the time our car was going to be there.....this ended up being a month since they had to order the part which was some exhaust preheater located somewhere by the muffler...never heard of this before. But anyway, the part was covered under warranty and we have been satisfied so far.
