I noticed some grinding on Friday....Drove maybe 15 miles over the weekend. Monday I took it to a brake dealership and they said the back brakes/rotors were ruined and needed to be replaced. They also said they have seen this same problem on the 07 jaguar s-type before. The dealership took no resonsibility even tho it had been in for service in FEB. with no reported issue with the brakes, and there was absolutely NO indication of any kind prior to the ginding. I have since learned that this is not and isolated problem with only my car. I contacted the corporate headquarters but of course they would not pay any part of the repair. I have also had numerous problems with the computer system (seat memory,. stereo, unlocking w/ remote,etc. This i the 3rd s-type I hve leased and had no probms with the first two.
