I start up my Compass, it runs for a bit, I turn around and head down the drive way, as I pull out in to the road the "new" jeep I bought dies out. The FWD! light and the traction control lights came on as well. I called the Dealership they send a tow truck, and give me a rental, everything is covered under warranty. a week later its all set, I pick it up, drive around town, no problems. The NEXT day after picking it up I am driving home down the highway with my wife and 7 mo old daughter when the FWD! light comes on and the traction control light comes on, and then every time I press the gas pedal the engine spudders, as I get off the exit, the Jeep dies out. No I'm really pissed. I call the dealership, towed, this time they "can't get me a rental" Enterprise has no cars to rent neither does Thriffty... Awesome. So another week or so (this time with no rental) they call me back, and say we found the problem, its a loose ground wire on the fuel pump (which they replaced the sending unit the first time, and put a new ground on) this time, they added a 2nd ground wire in case the first one fails. They swore it will never happen again. Guess what? almost a week later I wake up for work, get in the 2008 Jeep Compass, and start it up, and it dies again. SAME PROBLEM.... 1 more time is a Lemon in New Hampshire, its currently in the dealership now, we'll see what happens.

A quick break down tho... the FWD! light comes on, as well as the ESP and BAS traction control lights, also even if you have a full tank of gas, the gauge reads empty,if you put the Jeep in Neutral and roll it a little, it might start back up, it happened to me when the tow truck got there. I almost hope it happens again, just so they will buy the damn P.O.S back.
