Just bought the jeep. At first I could smell burning plastic. The dealer said it was a new car and just needs time to break in all the parts. Two days later there was smoke coming from the center dash vents. Took back to dealer. They replaced the duct work and put thermal insulation on the radio. That lasted about a week and I could smell burning plastic again. I put in my own radio and haven't had a problem since.
